Just For Kids Gaming Club Rules
Below is the first draft of the Just For Kids Gaming Club Rules (Version 1.0)
1. Respect and Kindness
Treat all club members with respect and kindness!
No bullying, harassment, or rude behavior is allowed.
Use appropriate language at all times. (we understand this could slip- but do your best to not make it a habit)
2. Online Safety
Never share personal information (full name, address, phone number, etc.)
Keep your login details and passwords private.
Only use approved communication platforms for club activities.
3. Participation and Engagement
Attend all scheduled gaming sessions and meetings on time. (If you're going to be late, communicate)
Actively participate in discussions and activities.
Listen and follow instructions from club leaders, coaches, and mentors.
4. Gaming Etiquette
Follow the rules of the games being played.
No cheating, hacking, or exploiting glitches.
Be a good sport whether you win or lose.
5. Equipment and Setup
Ensure your gaming setup is ready before the session starts (e.g., charged devices, working internet connection).
Keep your gaming area tidy and free from distractions.
Use headphones to avoid disturbing others around you.
Use the Just For Kids Discord to Communicate with other club members.
6. Fair Play
Play fairly and give everyone a chance to participate.
Avoid hogging the game or dominating the conversation.
Support and encourage your fellow club members.
7. Parental Involvement
Please make sure that you go over all of these rules with your player. We will also post them in the DISCORD, so people see them on a regular basis.
Parents, the discord server also has a room for parents, this will allow you to ask questions, and keep an eye on what you're player is doing as well.
While Just For Kids will post information, players, it is your job to inform your parents or guardians about the club activities.
Ensure they know the platforms and games being used.
Seek their help if you encounter any issues online.
8. Health and Well-being
Take regular breaks during gaming sessions to rest your eyes and stretch.
Stay hydrated and have healthy snacks if needed.
Balance gaming with other activities like homework, physical exercise, and family time.
9. Reporting Issues
Report any inappropriate behavior, technical issues, or concerns to the club leader, coaches, and mentors immediately.
Use designated channels for reporting to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
- DM Coach Ryan (Touchedartist) or whatever Leader, Coach, or Mentor, that is in charge of the group.
10. Enjoy and Have Fun
Remember, the club is for enjoyment and learning.
Make new friends, discover new games, and have fun!
